Named in honor of Jane and Charles “Coach” Nelson, the Nelson Tennis Foundation (NTF) is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Through scholarships and grants, the NTF works to support & promote the game of tennis in the Georgetown community.

LEARN MOREThe Nelson Tennis Foundation Scholarship is designed to recognize graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated dedication, leadership, and a genuine love for tennis—both on and off the court. Each year, the Foundation awards up to four scholarships to eligible GISD senior tennis players.
The Nelson Tennis Foundation is proud to offer the Trey Louis Baring Memorial Scholarship, a special award created to honor the life, legacy, and lasting impact of Trey Baring—a former tennis professional, passionate advocate for the game, and a dedicated supporter of the Foundation’s mission.
